Abelard House Counselling and Psychotherapy

Abelard House on Auckland’s North Shore was founded over 15 years ago and provides counselling and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Our therapists provide counselling and psychotherapy in a safe and confidential context to explore important life difficulties, patterns and changes.

Our therapists offer counselling and psychotherapy for:

  • Anxiety and panic attacks

  • Relationships

  • Adolescents, children and families

  • Working out co-parenting arrangements

  • Work stress, redundancy, retirement

  • Sexual abuse and trauma

  • Psychological abuse

  • Domestic violence

  • Mental health concerns

  • Chronic or terminal illness

  • Supervision

Appointments:
Counselling sessions are one hour in duration.  To arrange an appointment phone Abelard House 09 478 2501.  This is an answer phone so leave your name and phone number and one of our therapists will return your call as soon as possible. Each therapist sets their own fee structure.  In the event of cancellation 24 hours notice is required or the normal fee applies.

All therapists at Abelard are members of a professional body and adhere to a professional code of ethics, which includes NZAC, NZAP, NZ Board of Psychologists and NZCCA.
